A digital camera is a still image camera that captures and stores images in digital formats. Digital cameras can have from two to more than 50 megapixels, a range of memory capacities, different digital and optical zoom capabilities. Many also capture digital video and offer specialized settings for particular effects (e.g., black and white, action shots, night photography).
